Friends of the Saugatucket is a team of your friends and neighbors who wish to promote the well-being of the Saugatucket River, its surrounding watershed, its natural community, and the people who treasure their local river.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Our mission is:

to promote and enhance the natural and cultural features of the Saugatucket River and its watershed for the benefit of the river and its surrounding lands and community.

Please be sure to visit our FaceBook page and “follow” us to keep up-to-date on our activities, stay informed on current events involving the river and watershed, and see many beautiful photos and interesting videos.

Please contact us if you would like to be involved in any of our ongoing projects.

Congratulations to Cherrie Perkins for winning the raffle for the gorgeous diorama very generously donated by artist Brian O’Connor! The raffle raised $1,620 to support our work!
